May need to adjust charging current depending on charger type\/charging method.<br \/>\nAvailable in powder and tablet<\/p>\n<p>\u2461 A Type: Easy to handle<br \/>\nNon-effervescent<br \/>\nGood for batteries for forklift, golf cart etc. Good for tubular type battery Available in powder (should be applied directly into battery electrolyte)<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"midashi\">Why Super-K is special and unique ?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<li>Until now, most of additives or activators for lead-acid batteries use fine powder of solid materials such as barium sulfate, lignin and carbon black for negative electrode. They are generally called an \u201cexpander\u201d. But, none of them can eliminate fundamental reason (sulfation on the negative terminal) for battery deterioration. They only extend battery life temporarily.<\/li>\n<li>We found that organic polymer soluble in the acid electrolyte is very effective in extending the life cycle and improving the discharge capacity of lead-acid batteries.<\/li>\n<li>Super-K additive reduces and eliminates sulfation, and works to activate electrodes by breaking up large crystallines. With addition of Super-K additive, water and proper charging, battery is regenerated and battery life can be dramatically extended.<\/li>\n<div class=\"post\">\n<p>(Remarks) Super-K won\u2019t be effective for lead-acid batteries where their electrodes and terminals<br \/>\nare detached from battery cells, or severely damaged mechanically.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"midashi\">Technology behind Super-K<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;Why we could create Super-K?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Super-K is developed by ITE (International Technology Exchange Society) Battery Research<br \/>\nInstitute, which is a non-profit society registered in the U.S.A. ITE was established by Dr. Akiya<br \/>\nKozawa, Ex-Fellow of Union Carbide Corporation and Ex-Professor at Tohoku (National) University,<br \/>\nfor the purpose of developing new technology for lead-acid battery and extending battery life.<br \/>\nSuper-K was created after many years of extensive research, experiments by world\u2019s leaders in this<br \/>\nfield. Five researchers obtained Doctor\u2019s degrees at Yamagata University from the co-operative studies and guidance from Dr. Kozawa and professors at four Japanese universities.<\/p>\n<p>Super-K developed by : ITE group headed by Dr. Akiya Kozawa<br \/>\nSuper-K manufactured by : ITE Battery Research Institute<br \/>\nSuper-K produced under : U.S.A. Therefore, only additives non-soluble to sulfuric acid such as barium<br \/>\nsulfate, lignin powder and carbon powder etc. were used for negative electrode of battery cell.<br \/>\nSuper-K organic polymer activator is the world\u2019s first effective additive for lead-acid battery<br \/>\nusing polymer soluble in sulfuric acid. This organic polymer (mainly PVA polyvinyl alcohol) will<br \/>\ndo no harm even if it is added too much, because it will be oxidative decomposed at positive electrode<br \/>\nand will be gradually reduced. Deterioration at positive electrode caused by chemical reaction of<br \/>\nthe additive will be recovered by charging the battery and there won\u2019t be any harm.<br \/>\nAlso, the organic polymer has large size molecules and is slow in dispersion.
